Hahas ok, so this blog is dead. So here's a short post to sort of, update this blog?

Kkae, so i guess everyone's busy with their CCAs, tests(OMG) (NOT obsessed) ;] and i dunno... Whatever you are busy with? However, I still think that we should play a part in keeping this blog alive yeahh? Its really dead and i can't do much about it... So I'm posting:]

Ok came across this very VERY touching poem, about friends... Ok I know some of you guys saw it alr bt its just to liven this blog up a bit yeahh?

Here goes...

I'll smile when you smile, and feel the pain you do,
And if you cry a single tear, I promise I'll cry too.

Ok i know its kinda lame and everything but shldn't we be like that? Feeling each other's pain, always encouraging, share the happy times, and most importantly, stay friends forever, until the very end.

Well, so i hope this encourages you... Even if you can't keep the old freinds whom you have already lost, why not treasure the new friends, and never let them stand alone, never EVER abandon them in times of need. Share both happy and sad times together, and don't forsake them.

Lols I'm sounding all philosogical(or sth like that)... Hahas ok i think its no longer a short post... While you enjoy yourselves in your new classes, always remember your friends who were in 1h!

There was a boy by the name of Steve who was attending school in Utah.In this school Seminary classes are held during school hours. Brother Christianson taught Seminary at this particular school. He had an open-door policy and would take in any student that had been thrown out of another class as long as they would abide by his rules. Steve had been kicked out of his sixth period and no other teacher wanted him, so he went into Brother Christianson’s Seminary class. Steve was told that he could not be late, so he arrived just seconds before the bell rang and he would sit in the very back of the room. He would also be the first to leave after the class was over. One day, Brother Christianson asked Steve to stay after class so he could talk with him. After class,Bro. Christianson pulled Steve aside and said, “You think you’re pretty tough, don’t you?” Steve’s answer was, “Yeah, I do.” Then Brother Christianson asked, “How many push-ups can you do?” Steve said, “I do about 200 every night.” “200? That’s pretty good, Steve,” Brother Christianson said. “Do you think you could do 300?” Steve replied, “I don’t know… I’ve never done 300 at a time.” “Do you think you could?” Again asked BrotherChristianson. “Well, I can try,” said Steve. “Can you do 300 in sets of 10? I need you todo 300 in sets of ten for this to work. Can you do it? I need you to tell me you can do it,” BrotherChristianson said. Steve said, “Well… I think I can… yeah, I can do it.” Brother Christianson said, “Good! I need you to do this on Friday.” Friday came and Steve got to class early and sat in the front of the room. When class started, BrotherChristianson pulled out a big box of donuts.Now these weren’t the normal kinds of donuts,they were the extra fancy BIG kind, with creamcenters and frosting swirls. Everyone was pretty excited-it was Friday, the last class of the day, and they were going to get an early start on the weekend. Bro. Christianson went to the first girl in the first row and asked, “Cynthia, do you want a donut?” Cynthia said, “Yes.” Bro. Christianson then turned to Steve and asked,“Steve, would you do ten push-ups so that Cynthiacan have a donut?” Steve said, “Sure,” and jumped down from his desk todo a quick ten. Then Steve again sat in his desk. Bro. Christianson put a donut on Cynthia’s desk. Bro. Christianson then went to Joe, the next person,and asked, “Joe do you want a donut?” Joe said, “Yes.” Bro. Christianson asked, “Stevewould you do ten push-ups so Joe can have a donut?”Steve did ten push-ups, Joe got a donut. And so it went, down the first aisle, Steve did ten pushups for every person before they got their donut. And down the second aisle, till Bro. Christiansoncame to Scott. Scott was captain of the football team and center ofthe basketball team. He was very popular and never lacking for female companionship. When Bro.Christianson asked, “Scott do you want a donut?” Scott’s reply was, “Well, can I do my own pushups?” Bro. Christianson said, “No, Steve has to do them.” Then Scott said, “Well, I don’t want one then.” Bro. Christianson then turned to Steve and asked,“Steve, would you do ten pushups so Scott can have a donut he doesn’t want?” Steve started to do ten pushups. Scott said, “HEY!I said I didn’t want one!” Bro. Christianson said, “Look, this is my classroom,my class, my desks, and my donuts. Just leave it on the desk if you don’t want it.” And he put a donut on Scott’s desk. Now by this time, Steve had begun to slow down a little. He just stayed on the floor between setsbecause it took too much effort to be getting upand down. You could start to see a little perspiration coming out around his brow. Bro.Christianson started down the third row. Now the students were beginning to get a little angry. Bro. Christianson asked Jenny, “Jenny, do you want a donut?” Jenny said, “No.” Then Bro. Christianson asked Steve, “Steve,would you do ten pushups so Jenny can have a donut that she doesn’t want?” Steve did ten, Jenny got a donut. By now, the students were beginning to say “No” and there were all these uneaten donuts on the desks.Steve was also having to really put forth a lot of effort to get these pushups done for each donut. There began to be a small pool of sweat on the floor beneath his face, his arms and brow were beginning to get red because of the physical effort involved. Bro. Christianson asked Robert to watch Steve to make sure he did ten pushups in a set because he couldn’t bear to watch all of Steve’s work for all of those uneaten donuts. So Robert began to watch Steve closely. Bro. Christianson started down the fourthrow. During his class, however, some students had wandered in and sat along the heaters along the sides of theroom. When Bro. Christianson realized this; he did a quick count and saw 34 students in the room. He started to worry if Steve would be able to make it. Bro. Christianson went on to the next person and the next and the next. Near the end of that row, Steve was really having a rough time. He was taking a lot more time to complete each set. Steve asked Bro. Christianson, “Do I have to make my nose touch on each one?” Bro. Christianson thought for a moment, “Well,they’re your pushups. You can do them any way that you want.” And Bro. Christianson went on. A few moments later, Jason came to the room and was about to come in when all the students yelled, “NO!Don’t come in! Stay out!” Jason didn’t know what was going on. Steve picked up his head and said, “No, let him come.” Bro. Christianson said, “You realize that if Jason comes in you will have to do ten pushups for him.” Steve said, “Yes, let him come in.” Bro. Christianson said, “Okay, I’ll let you get Jason’s out of the way right now. Jason, do you want a donut?” “Yes.” “Steve, will you do ten pushups so that Jason can have a donut?” Steve did ten pushups very slowly and with great effort. Jason, bewildered, was handed a donut and sat down. Bro. Christianson finished the fourth row, then started on those seated on the heaters. Steve’s arms were now shaking with each pushup in a struggle to lift himself against the force of gravity. Sweat was dropping off his face and, by this time, there was not a dry eye in the room. The very last two girls in the room were cheerleaders and very popular. Bro. Christianson went to Linda,the second to last, and asked, “Linda, do you want a doughnut? Linda said, very sadly, “No, thank you.” Bro. Christianson asked Steve, “Steve, would you do ten pushups so that Linda can have a donut she doesn’t want?” Grunting from the effort, Steve did ten very slow pushups for Linda. Then Bro. Christianson turned to the last girl, Susan. “Susan, do you want a donut?” Susan, with tears flowing down her face, asked,“Bro. Christianson , can I help him?” Bro. Christianson, with tears of his own, said, “No,he has to do it alone, Steve, would you do ten pushups so Susan can have a donut?” As Steve very slowly finished his last pushup, withthe understanding that he had accomplished all that was required of him, having done 350 pushups, his arms buckled beneath him and he fell to the floor. Brother Christianson turned to the room and said. “And so it was, that our Savior, Jesus Christ,plead to the Father, “Into thy hands I commend my spirit.” With the understanding that He had done everything that was required of Him, he collapsed on the cross and died. And like some of those in this room, many of us leave the gift on the desk,uneaten.

it has some religous meaning..
erm...but u can like read it in another way if ur not christian...
moral of the story:
some people do a lot for others, but we,the ungrateful lot, didnt even bother to repay the person by using wad the person gave you..(eg.your parents sacrificed alot so that u can come and study here in AHS,although it isnt the best school around,you should at least be grateful enough to study ur best here.)

time for some 'serious' stuff
i'm veri disappointed wif the class chalet man...
its not individual's fault man..
more than half the class nvr show up...
i mean at least for at least 5hours....
why like that?
chamaine didn't organise a friends chalet ok?
she organised a CLASS chalet,
i'm quite sure theres gonna be another class chalet nxt year
so i really hope that at least that time 3/4 of the class will be there

For those of you who are going for the chalet please take note:

Meet at Tanah Merah MRT at 9 am. We'll wait till 9.15 for the late ppl.

At around 9.30 meet the ppl who are staying near Pasir Ris, and are waiting at Pasir Ris MRT.

Go to Pasir Ris Park, play there and have lunch.

We can check in to the chalet at abt 3... So after lunch you have some free time and meet back at the chalet by 4.

Have some games and activities, I wun be around coz of cca...

ERM CAN I ASK IF YOU ALL WANT BBQ?? I CHECKED, IT WILL BE ABT $5 A PERSON IF WE HAV A BBQ.
Or do you guys want to order pizza or sth?? I think its cheaper.

In anycase, please remember to bring some money along!! Tqtq!

BTW, There is an ARCADE there so you all can play there!!

Hey 1H-ians,
its been an awesome 1 year wif u guys(and gals).
Although i dun show it much,
in my heart,u guys are the best class i ever had,
forget about those ppl u hate,
love everyone.
This past year is very eventfull,
many of u guys hav left a mark on me
either mentally or physically...
Although we wont be the same class again,
i truely wish that after this year,
we can hav a class chalet on the exact same date,
every year.
Then, we will nvr forget each other,

How's the HOMEWORK coming along??
ITS ALMOST SCHOOL REOPEN!!!

Haha okay not here to nag abt homework... I'm here to confirm the class chalet. My mum has offered to sponsor the class chalet since the main reason you guys didn't want to go was the cost problem... So now, the problems left: The date, food and what are we gonna do there? Okay, I don't want to do all these because some people would complain that I'm not even in the class commitee, why should I do? Haix.. Blame me for being so 'over-enthu' and 'kpo' lorr... Haha anyways... I don't think Zi Yi and Li Fang would do all these anyway... But I'll obviously discuss it with all the class comm members, and after that confirm with the class. So... Don't worry, whe its confirmed, you guys don't have to pay a single cent. [Although if you want to donate, I have no objections!:D ] Haha but nothing is confirmed yet so, yea. That's about it for now. Now if anyone still has any violent objections you guys can jus sae it and I'll try my best to solve it. Haix... And please don't say I'm bossy or anything... I'm just trying to get a class chalet done, don't make things difficult for me. TQTQ.

我经常上互联网，差不多每天都上网，和朋友交流、聊天。
在一人一机的环境下，青少年不需与其他人面对面地打交道。同时，网络技术使人们的身份可以变成电脑上的一串字符，任何人都可以随便用不同的名字、性别、年龄与人交流而不会被人察觉。

我觉得使用互联网的优缺点有很多。由于互联网拥有大量信息，导致人们摄取时越来越依赖网络，使他们不愿与现实中的人进行沟通，人与人的交往比以往任何时候都困难，即使与人交往，产生人格障碍和人际交往障碍。这些非人格化的倾向给家庭和社会对青少年教育带来了许多不利影响，也带来了大量社会问题。

老师利用博客教学，我觉得有好也有坏。那些上课没听课的，可以到那里看看，吸收力比较强。而且，省纸。反过来，对那些家里没电脑的学生来说，会很麻烦。所以，我对老师用博克教书，不是很赞同。

17th July which is 1 day before wy's bdae. It is supposed to be a personal recount test so please,
if you have to memorise passages, please do, and if you have to memorise phrases, please do. cause you wont wanna fail your test, as it would be counted in the percentage.
Also, please do rmb to bring a piece of cloth and some newspaper for ACC next friday, 18th July.

WHAT IS ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE?
Alzheimer's disease is a progressive, degenerative disease of the brain in which brain cells die and are not replaced.
It results in impaired memory, thinking and behaviour, and is the most common form of dementing illness.

WHAT ARE THE COMMON SYMPTOMS OF ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE?

Confusion ... e.g. your mother always misplaces her keys.
Last Tuesday she couldn't remember what the keys were for.

Disorientation ... e.g. your grandfather likes to take daily strolls around the neighbourhood. But in the past month he's gotten lost four times and couldn't find his way home without help from a neighbour.

Memory Loss ... e.g. your favourite uncle can't remember your name or names of your parents or his sons.

A list of common symptoms (some of them also may apply to other dementing illnesses) is shown below to help you know what warning signs to look out for. If you or your relative has several of these symptoms, consult a doctor for a complete examination.

The 10 warning signs of Alzheimer's disease are:
*problem with recent memory
*misplacing things
*difficulty performing familiar tasks
*problems with language
*disorientation of place and time
*poor or decreased judgement
*problems with abstract thinking
*changes in mood or behaviour
*changes in personality
*loss of initiative

WHAT DO WE NORMALLY DO?
We normally fail to recognise that these symptoms indicate something is wrong and may mistakenly assume that such behaviour is a normal part of the ageing process. Well, it isn't! Sometimes, we may refuse to act even when we know something's wrong. These symptoms may develop gradually and go unnoticed for a long time.

WHAT WE SHOULD DO?
It's important to see a doctor for a complete examination when we recognise the symptoms. Only a doctor can properly diagnose the person's condition.
Help is available to learn how to care for a person with dementia and where to find assistance for the caregiver.

I agree about the idea.But strongly object to the stand there people pay money to spray water on us.Firstly,we might make the floor wet,and i dont think the teachers will like that.Secondly,I dont think people will pay money to see us get wet when they could have just used their Nike bottle or something to spray us their own.For FREE.

hey melissa. what do you mean by blocking people? blocking people from posting here? or tagging in the tagboard. if blocking people from posting here, pls do not get upset. i deleted the class blog acct so that people will not be able to frame each other. but somehow, i think i made a terrible mistake and enabled back the class blog acct again, and those people somehow realised it and framed others. do not fret, i shall disable it again.

Long time since i posted here.. Well, the situation in class is quite bad.. (4 dose hu noe it)
Well.. jus came bac from da concert (at 11:30pm actually) n although the concert is boring, but the conductor is super funny lar.. B4 he conduct he will take 2 small bows n when he conduct when it cums 2 da climax he will start jumping.. (he jumps lyk a bunny.. hahaXD) anyway.. after the concert we went 2 macs.. den by da time i reached home its alr 11:30pm.. *shock* so now im posting at 12++ which is lame.. sian.. so few ppl on9.. :(
